Settle in rooms and roommates
Get settled into the hotel so you can get ready to go out. Before heading out, we would need to have an orientation meeting to go over safety protocols and expectations.
Explore local food, drinks and sweets
Grab a bite with us on a tour of Japanese eats. Try their sweets, exoctic snacks and much more.
Introduction about Language, Culture, and Traditions of Japan
The group will learn some simple phrases to get around Japan. The group will also learn the traditions and values of Japan.
Train to Kamakura
We will hop on one of Japan’s greatest train inventions – their amazing transportation system which is known for modern, always on time and super convenient.
Temple visit
We will take an adventure without feeling rushed to the Buddhist temple called Kotoku-in. It is known as the Japan’s National Treasure, the bronze statue of Amitabha Buddha which is known as the Great Buddha of Kamakura. The statue was constructed in 1252 in Daibutsu-den Hall.
Local/street food
We will explore more Japanese foods such as ramen, udon, street-food and much more…
Traditional Craft Making
We will have three (3) choices of their choosing of what they would like to craft. We will learn and explore on current traditional craft making.
Train to Tokyo
Hop on board and let’s go to Tokyo. One of the safest, busiest intersection, and wealthiest cities in the world. You can find anything on a vending machine in Tokyo. Asakusa Tokyo is known for their unique blend of traditional and modern cultures. It has a historic neighborhood that is still known for their cultural landmarks and arts.
Visit Sensō-ji Temple
See Tokyo’s oldest temple called Sensoji, the good old Edo atmosphere. It was built in 628AD and the temple has been rebuilt almost 20 times throughout the history. Don’t miss the main hall of Sensoji, known as the Buddhist goddess of mercy, the large red Kaminarimon Thunder Gate lantern and the five storied pagoda.
Sumo Match
Watch Japan’s National Sport live. Two sumo wrestlers wearing nothing but a mawashi (lioncloth) comes face to face to wrestle each other in the dohyo (circular ring). The main idea of Sumo match is force the opponent to the ground or pushes him out of the ring. The opponent must either push, grapple and throw their opponents off the ring.
Visit Tokyo Tower Observation Decks
Visit one of Japan’s most-iconic landmarks. It is known as one of the best places for panoramic views of Tokyo on a clear day. What to expect? You can see the Tokyo Skytree and Mount Fuji in the distance. Also, they are famous for their glass floor attraction, “Skywalk Windows”. Dare to look down 145 meters from the tower? Be brave.
Train to Sakuragicho
It is one of Yokohama’s oldest town facing the beautiful view of Yokohama Harbor.
Boat Ride/Red Brick Warehouse
Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse serves a local community and businesses. It is used for transporting and exporting unprocessed goods brought in from overseas. You can browse the community that is filled with several stores selling clothes, bags, kawaii items, dishware and ornaments. You can even enjoy a meal at a cafe or restaurants. Enjoy the views fo the sea or the night sky.
Visit Yokohama Chinatown
Don’t miss one of Japan’s largest, Yokohama Chinatown district. You can explore through their colorful Zenrinmon Gate on the district’s west side by shopping their goods imported from China. Enjoy the foods, drinks, snacks and much more.
Ride on the Ferris Wheel
Come and join us at the Cosmo Clock 21 Ferris Wheel. Enjoy the 360- degree view of the cityscape.
